How can I test for asbestos?
My office was near the steam pipe explosion in NYC. I want to test the dust for asbestos. Is there a lab where I can send samples, or a do it yourself kit?
You collect the sample yourself and then send it off to a lab. Try amazon.com, they have reliable products there. The kit is usually 10-30 dollars and there’s an additional fee for the lab testing.
You could also probably get one at Lowe’s or Home Depot….
