copd emphysema treatment
I have COPD and emphysema, any ideas on how to feel better?
I am trying to cut back on smoking. I end up in ER getting breathing treatments a lot. Can Title 19 get me a breathing treatment I can use at Home?
Well, the obvious answer is to completely quit smoking while you still have some lung function left.
If you don’t quit, you will become a respiratory cripple, and can look forward to frequent pneumonias, being on oxygen (no smoking allowed then because of risk of explosion) and heart disease brought on by the respiratory failure (cor pulmonale).
Trying to cut back is not going to cut it. Quitting will. There is a new medication called Chantix that is supposed to be a great help with quitting smoking.
