lung cancer or pneumonia
I’m 18 and Worried about Lung Cancer?
I’ve never smoked, but my dad died 4 years ago from lung cancer as have many members of his family. for about 6 years I’ve gotten this persistent cough that last for about a month and 1/2 each time, about two times a year but never around the same time. I just had this cough in January and now I have it again, which is strange because it’s never been this close together before.
My mom says I’m a hypochondriac, but I think I have a legitimate concern considering my family history and that both of my parents smoked around my all through my childhood.
I don’t really know. Anyone have any advice or anybody want to talk me down?
besides, what do I say to my doctor. I’ve only gone once with this cough and it was bronchitis that was almost pneumonia
I don’t necessarily think I have lung cancer, I just think my lungs are shot from all these things.
Since you have had bronchitis before, you likely have it again. Once you have bronchitis it recurs from time to time. You may need another round of antibiotics to help you thru it.
